Google+ (pronounced and sometimes written as Google Plus; sometimes called G+) was a social network owned and operated by Google. The network was launched on June 28, 2011, in an attempt to challenge other social networks, linking other Google products like Google Drive, Blogger and YouTube.

On April 2, 2019 we are shutting down the consumer (personal) version of Google+, a social network by Google. The Google Account you use to sign in to these services will remain. You can delete your Google+ account before the consumer Google+ shutdown.

The pop up should show you all the information about that Google account including your name, email associated with the account, and if you have one, a Google Plus account. Clicking on the Google Plus account link will take you to your Google Plus page.

Developers will be able to continue using the console to manage projects, upload custom apps, download factory images, and deploy OTA (over-the-air) updates until January 5, 2022, at which point the console will be turned down completely.
