Naturally a girl will have a mothers instinct from birth. So, after wife, daughter will take care of his father and brother, irrespective whether he is older or younger. So that instinct makes daughters more caring towards fathers than mothers, because mother and daughter both are co care takers.

Why do dads get to be the fun parent?

Dads prefer to bond with their children through play. A mans body knows what it needs to be able to bond with his child – and although he is away from the child most of the day – gets adequate bonding through these intense bonding play sessions. I guess dads are meant to be the “fun parent after all”.
