Although the standard allows both the YYYY-MM-DD and YYYYMMDD formats for complete calendar date representations, if the day [DD] is omitted then only the YYYY-MM format is allowed. By disallowing dates of the form YYYYMM, the standard avoids confusion with the truncated representation YYMMDD (still often used).
uses a default date format to store and manipulate strings that represent dates. To specify the default date format, enter a date format in the DateTime Format String attribute in the data viewer configuration. By default, the date format is MM/DD/YYYY HH24:MI:SS.US.
CCYYMMDD means a calendar date in the format of century, year, month and day, without separators.
Is CCYY same as YYYY?
It means yyyyMMdd, as in year (4 digits), month (2 digits, leading zero) and day (2 digits, leading zero). So the ISO 8601 date 2014-01-05 is represented as CCYYMMDD as 20140105 . We are in century 21; not century 20. But they mean to write the year in a 4 digit format, so technically is yyyy.
