BC Rich has a long history of making great guitars and legends from Joe Perry to newer guys have played them. BC Rich makes good stuff. It is really a guitar uniquely geared to rock, in my opinion. That means its great for metal.

Is BC Rich better than Ibanez?

Ibanez are really versatile and they last a long time. If youre buying high end, BC Rich is the way to go, its just their low end stuff that sucks. Anyway, for $700, you could get a nice NJ Series BC Rich, and theyre all great guitars.
